- [Instructor] So now that we've added a little extra punch and presence to some of our individual sounds, I'd like to talk about adding a transient designer to the drum bus. Now, this is a sticky business. I just want to make sure that everybody's clear that it's just as easy to ruin something by being heavy handed with this technique as it is to make it better. So, do try this at home but be careful and use your ears always. Remember it's about emotion not listen to his drum bus, no one ever got married based on that. So let's take a listen to what we've got and I've got the shaker here. There's this little hat, there's the rim. I don't think percussion is doing anything. We've also got our 808.
