Build your songwriting muscle
From the course: One Minute Motivational Tips for Songwriters
Build your songwriting muscle
- [Instructor] I say this all the time, but I just love the analogy. Songwriting is a muscle. The more that you do it, the stronger that muscle will become and the better built it will be. Consistency in your songwriting is the key to developing your songwriting muscle. You can't just write every once in a while if you genuinely want to improve. This has to be something that you do, if not every day, pretty close to it. If you're serious about your songwriting, make sure that you find a way to be consistent. This does not mean hours and hours every day, but it does mean making some sort of effort with your songwriting every day.
