- [Instructor] So if you've got your mix-buss in place, and maybe it's having to work a little bit too hard to get things sitting right, there are a few things that you should do. One of them is check your balance, make sure things things that are sitting in the right place, but the other things is consider using compression and EQ in other places. Now I've got a lot of tracks going on in this particular song, and, I have them split up into these different groups. So the vocals, for example, are going to the vocal group, the synths to the synth group, the drums to the drum group, and, those get received up here. These are just aux inputs and, this'll work in just about any DAW. You can use groups in Ableton Live, you can use track stacks in Logic, it's totally up to you. But essentially what I have here is the ability to process these separate groups. So for example, if I wanted to put something on all the vocals, all the vocals need, a little bit more EQ, I can jump in, and I can…
