- [Instructor] Now that we've used a multi-band dynamics module to compress, let's also use it to expand. Okay, so expansion is essentially just the opposite of compression. As a signal comes in, it gets used to actually expand the dynamic range. So we're turning it up. And there are a lot of great uses for this. There's so much interesting stuff that we can touch on to bring some excitement to the table. So, let's check out our background vocals.
