Quick and dirty ITB reamping

- [Instructor] So one of the tools of the trade for mixers in general but also for recording engineers, and now for home computer musicians is reamping. Reamping basically consists of taking something that was already recorded and maybe it doesn't have enough character, maybe it needs a different character or just a vibe switch or maybe it needs something that can run in parallel with it that just does something different, adds something. Reamping is basically taking that signal out of your multi-track, so in this case, out of your computer, and sending it through a guitar amp or any other kind of amplifier, perhaps stomp boxes. I use the term reamp include stomp boxes and things like that. I've even sent elements through a PA system, some big speakers set up in a big live room to get some real ambience on them.
