Remember what moved someone else
From the course: One Minute Motivational Tips for Songwriters
Remember what moved someone else
- [Narrator] Not only is remembering what moves you about the songwriting process important, but remembering when you genuinely moved someone else with one of your songs will be a great way to put some wind back in your sails if you're struggling a little bit with your songwriting or you're trying to remember why it is you do this in the first place. Remembering a time where one of your songs genuinely moved someone else, either to laughter or tears or deep reflection, just remember that that's what songs at their very best are designed to do. And I am certain, if you think about it for a moment, you will remember a time when one of your songs has done that for someone else. It's good to remember.
