Set up a time of day to write

Set up a time of day to write
- [Instructor] This tip may sound like it contradicts one of my earlier tips about varying your schedule, but until you have a schedule to vary, you don't really have what is essential in your writing arsenal, which is consistency. So one of the things that I recommend, especially if you're just getting started writing songs, is to set up a time of day that you will put aside for writing. That consistency can be incredibly powerful. It doesn't have to be a lot of time, but writing consistently every day will really begin to help you create a catalog of songs and develop your songwriting skills in general. There's just so much good that can come from it. So when in doubt, schedule a time of day to write.
