Set up your social media accounts
- [Instructor] One of the first things you need to do in order to market your songs and yourself is to set up your social media accounts. I am by no means a renowned expert in social media. However, I am well aware that a social media presence is important in a songwriting career. Have a plan on how to post your music, make sure that you are regularly getting your music out there when it's ready to be released and keep your followers up to date on your progress. Not only will this work in terms of keeping other people engaged in your work, it actually keeps you engaged in your own work and keeps you accountable. So set up your social media accounts, whichever ones are most appropriate for what you do and get your music out in the world.
