- [Instructor] All right, so let's talk about some EQ, equalization. Basically what we're doing here is we're carving out frequencies, we're emphasizing certain ones, we're filtering out other ones. There are a lot of different ways to do this, some are colorful, some are not. But I want to sort of start with the nuts and bolts, which is how I was taught in terms of making space for other things. So before you start boosting things, it's generally a nice move to start carving out frequencies that aren't working so well together. So let's go to a couple of our friends here. I have this track that I worked on with a friend of mine, and it's just a demo of something, but I thought it would be great for this because it has a few different items.
