- [Evan] Okay, so some of you may be thinking, Evan, I don't make R&B, I don't mix R&B, or maybe you do, but you really like the sound of a compressor. Me too. Okay. There's a lot that we can do here. I'm not saying that just because you're using a transient designer, you're going to replace that entirely. There's room for everything. These are just tools in your tool chest. If I were making a steak, sometimes I do want to do it in a cast iron skillet, as opposed to on the grill. But if I have the opportunity to use a grill, I probably will go for a grill. Anyway, that's a whole other discussion here. If you don't eat steak, I'm very sorry. Let's go ahead and grab just a nice compressor. You know, I like a nice compressor. And I'm going to grab the shadow hills mastering compressor 'cause I use it a lot.
