From the course: One Minute Motivational Tips for Songwriters
The song is its own reward
- [Narrator] One of the easiest things to forget as you start to pursue a career as a songwriter and attempt to generate income with your songs, is that writing a song is its own reward. This gets obscured as we try for bigger and better things for our music. But I think it's extremely important to take a deep breath and remember that when you write a song, that in and of itself is a victory and an important one. So my recommendation would be, just take a moment when you've written a song and remember that writing the song itself is its own reward.
