- Welcome to Capturing Audio for Video, Tips and Techniques. In this movie, I"m going to ask you to do something I think you'll find rather odd. I want to try a listening exercise that I've found very effective throughout my teaching career. I realize I'm asking you to take a leap of faith here, but if you bear with me and play along, I think you'll find it useful. It starts with closing your eyes. When you do that, the world alters a little and your sense of hearing and ability to listen closely come more into focus. So, if you're willing to get a little weird, let's get started. - [Voiceover] Please close your eyes. Seriously, close your eyes and keep them closed. As we enter the totality of immersion offered by a journey into sonic space. I call this focused listening.
