- For our last challenge it's pretty simple. It's a single image workflow. I know I told you that I love shooting brackets, but sometimes the subject matter won't work. In this case I've got a nature shot, and it can be difficult to capture animals and to convince them to sit around while you bracket a camera. I was hand-held. I was shooting quickly, but I got the shot I wanted. It just doesn't have all the contrast that it needs. We've got a good subject here. I really like the overall texture, but it's a bit challenging in that we have a brown lizard in a brown tree with a very bright background. What you're going to look to do is really try to maximize this. See if you can bring out the tones and map them to a better overall exposure. You may have to get in there and mask a little bit too, but you should be able to pull off the results relatively quickly. Why don't you give it a try and see if you can get a great balance of tones.
