Removing noise from an HDR image with the HDR denoise filter

- Once you start boosting the details in an image and pushing the high-dynamic-range, noise usually comes about. Part of this is because we often are merging multiple photos together, so the overall noise spread across each image is getting combined, making even more noise. Plus, as we start to boost the details, well, noise is a detail, and those little details become bigger details. So let me show you how you can really remove that noise without destroying the details in the photo. What we're going to do is go to the Denoise option here, and you'll find it right below that HDR Structure option that I previously turned off. In order to judge this, I suggest you zoom to 100%. And this is where we can control the amount of the denoise. Let's maximize this for a moment so you see it being really aggressive. You'll notice in this case, at a really high value, it almost turns the image into a digital painting. You're probably not going to use a value of 100, which is extremely aggressive.…
