- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our AutoCAD Architecture Essential Training course. We're going to be taking a look now at how we place floor slabs in our architectural models. So we've got a new drawing for you. It's called Floor Slab.dwg, and you can download it from the library to follow along with the videos in this particular chapter. You will recognize the drawing. You'll recognize it from various chapters in this particular course. But what you'll notice is there's one subtle difference in this particular drawing. You can see that we've got a partial floor slab in place. And you can see that in the Southwest isometric view that we've got showing on the screen at the moment. Now, the first thing we're going to look at in this chapter is how we place a floor slab. Now, one of the most important things about placing a floor slab is to be accurate.
