- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now in our AutoCAD architecture course. And we're going to look at working with roofs in your architecture models. Now we've got a drawing for you to follow along with this particular chapter, it's called Roof Model.dwg. Now, you can see at the moment we're in the Top view, you can see that on the view cube, you can see on the dropdown menu here as well. And I'm just going to jump into the Southwest isometric. You'll notice that there's no floor slab in this model. I've deliberately left out for clarity. So please don't worry about any floor slabs or anything like that. We're going to concentrate on the roof model in our AutoCAD architecture DWG file. So I'm going to jump back to the Top view like so, and make sure you're using 2D wire frame for this one. It's just easier. You can see your object snaps and so on. They're a little bit cleaner and easier to see in the 2D Y frame…
