Setting up a simple project
- [Instructor] Up until now I've been teaching you how to use AutoCAD Architecture through individual DWG files. What we're going to look at in this chapter is project management. One of the main benefits of AutoCAD Architecture is the ability to run individual architectural projects that contain all of your DWG files that you need to work with that project. So what we're going to look at is developing a new project in this chapter, and making sure that the project is ready to go and located where we can find it. Now we've got a new drawing for you for this particular chapter, it's called projectmodel.dwg. And please make sure that you download this particular DWG from the library and use it for this chapter. It's really important that you do because it contains all the information we need to set up our new project, and work through it and develop the views that we need for our project as well.
