Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] The exercise files for this particular course are available in the library to download. So you can jump into the library and download all the exercise files that are available for this course. My suggestion is that you do that before this course and store them in a known location, so that you know where to find them. One of the benefits of AutoCAD Architecture is it still uses the native AutoCAD DWG file type. So all of the files you'll be using will be DWG files. You can see the name of the file at the top of the screen. It's called floorplan.dwg. I'll be directing you to which exercise file and which DWG file you should be using for each chapter. And also for the videos in that chapter as well. Also be aware that the DWG files might be contained within an AutoCAD Architecture project. AutoCAD Architecture uses projects for file management and drawing management. And I'll take you through that later on in the course. But there are certain project files that will also need to be saved, as well as the DWG files as you work through the videos in this course. Don't worry about it right now. I'll take you through it as we go through the chapters and the videos. But just be aware that we will be working with AutoCAD Architecture DWG files, and also at some point in the course, we'll be working with AutoCAD Architecture projects and their associated files.
