- [Instructor] We saw the power of an elevation analysis in the previous video. This time let's take a look at a slope analysis. Let's say we were sitting down with our client and looking at the plans and we notice that there's some pretty close contours down in this area here and down here. And our client may be a little concern being that this is to be a residential project, that we won't be able to build lots in this area because it's simply just too steep to build on. A slope analysis will give us a quick answer as to whether that's the case. To get started I'll click the surface and then click surface properties. The first thing I'll need to do is make sure that I've chosen a style that will show the slope analysis. So I'm going to come down here and pick slope banding 3D. If we take a look inside of this style on the display tab, we'll see that slopes are turned on. I'll click okay, and then we'll go to the analysis…
