Analyze using a quick profile

- [Instructor] Imagine being able to see a slice through your surface basically anytime you want. That's what a Quick Profile is. Let's take a look. To get started, we'll click the analyze tab of the ribbon and then simply click the Quick Profile button. I'll select an object along which to create my Quick Profile, and that's going to be this red polyline. That brings up the create Quick Profiles dialog box. And the first thing I want to make sure is that the select all surfaces option is unchecked. And I'm going to show two surfaces in my Quick Profile, EG and FG final. Notice the styles are all set to existing ground profile, which is good for EG, but for this one, I want to set it to design profile, so we can see some differentiation between existing and proposed.
