Apply a profile design check set
- [Instructor] As you saw with alignments, design check sets can be used to help you make sure that you're meeting your design requirements as you work. Let's see how design check sets work for profiles. I'll begin by clicking on the blue Jordan Court FGCL profile in my drawing, and then I'll go up to the ribbon and pick profile properties. On the profile properties dialog, I want to click the design criteria tab. I'll check the box to use criteria based design, and then I'll check the box for use design check set. Let's change the check set from basic to subdivision. And while we're here, let's take a look inside of this subdivision check set to see what it contains. I'll click the paintbrush icon just to the right of it. Here, I can see that I have two checks. For lines, I'm checking that the tangent grade must be between 0.5 and 5%. And for curves, I'm checking that the curve length must be three times the design…
