- [Instructor] If you recall profile views, the grid lines where the profiles are drawn are also Civil 3D objects, and are therefore controlled by styles. Let's see how that works. To get started, I'll click one of the grid lines of the profile view for Jordan Court. If you recall in the last exercise, we clicked one of the profiles themselves. This time we're clicking the grid that houses those profiles. And as I said, that is also a Civil 3D object. If I go up here to properties on the ribbon, you'll notice that there is a style associated with this profile view, and it's called, Major Grids 10V. Now we can name styles anything we want, but what this name is telling me is that this profile view style is showing the major grids. What does that mean? Well, profiles views have major and minor grids. So, the major grids might be along the horizontal axis every 50 feet, where the minor grids are maybe every 10 feet,…
