- Just like profile views, section views have bands too. Let's see how they work. I'll zoom into this lowest section view, click the view and then click section view properties here on the ribbon. And let's build out some bands to add some additional labels across the bottom of the section view. All of the bands that we add are going to be this section data type. And the first one is this Design-EG elevation with those two selected I'll click add. And then I need to change some settings about this band. I'll change the gap to zero. And then what this band does is it gives us elevation labels across the bottom of the section at even intervals. So I need to tell it what section to label. So I'll pick EG as the section, I'll click OK. And we can see the band's been created across the bottom and we can see the elevation labels.
