Convert a label to a tag

- [Instructor] We saw in the last video how to create a table of segment data from tags in the drawing. What if none of your labels are in tag form? Let's talk about what to do. There's two ways to approach this. The first way is when creating the table. Let me go ahead and start that command. Add Table, Parcel. I'll just do Add Segment. When I select my objects to be included in the table, if objects in there are not in tag form, I'll just window out some data here. Civil 3D will recognize that and give me the opportunity to convert those objects to tag mode. That's probably the easiest way to go. I'll go ahead and select that. And then I can be on my merry way creating the table as I originally intended. But in some cases you may want to have the tags in place beforehand. Maybe you want to have them numbered ahead of time so that you don't have to worry about renumbering them afterwards. And you can see here that the…
