Create and modify point groups
- [Narrator] Point groups are a great way to organize your points and to control their appearance and behavior. Let's see how they work. I'm going to go into Prospector and create a new point group. I'll right click on the point groups node and simply pick new. I'm going to call my new point group, buildings. And for my buildings, I want to change the marker style to station, and I want to change the point label style to what you see here, point, elevation and description. Currently, all of the points on the screen are set to, I believe, point and description, the elevations not included. So maybe I just want to call out my building points, make them a little more visible on the screen. That's why I'm changing the marker. And I'm also interested in the elevations around the building, so I want to see that value, along with the point information. So that's how we're going to reconfigure the appearance of our points.…
