- Sometimes drawings become too cluttered with labels and it's time to place them neatly in a table instead. Let's see how that works with parcel area labels. The first thing we need to do before we create a table is we need to straighten out the numbering of our parcels. You can see it's kind of out of order. We're 24 through 36, 38, but then we jumped to 61. Here's 61, here's 62. Then we're in the forties. It's just not a very consistent numbering system. So what we'd like to do is start here with number one and number the parcels proceeding in this direction until we kind of run out of numbers up here and then we'll start the numbering here and number clockwise in this direction. So how do we do that? Well, we click a parcel and then we pick renumber slash rename from the ribbon, the style we want to use as lot layout notice that our starting number is one and our increment value is one.
