- [Instructor] As I said in the previous video, survey data is stored in a survey database. Let's see how a survey database is created. There's no need to be in a specific drawing for this exercise. You just need to have Civil 3D open. To get started, I'll click the Survey tab on the tool space. And at the top of the list on the Survey tab, you'll see survey databases. There's one listed there right now called Test1. But what we need to do is change the location of the working folder, which is where our example survey databases are going to be located. To do that, I'll right-click survey databases and select set working folder. I want to browse to my chapter three exercise files folder and I want that to be the location of my working folder. I'll click Select Folder. When you do that, you should see a bunch of databases listed beneath it. These are the ones that we're going to be using throughout this chapter. What…
