- [Instructor] And now that we understand the relationship between Sites and Feature Lines, let's go ahead and create a very basic Feature Line, in our exercise for this video. You're going to open up using the quick access toolbar, 12_02_featureLineCreate. In this drawing we have three circles, all of them with numbers next to them. And that's simply what we're going to do, we're going to connect the dots to create our Feature Line. So from the Home Ribbon, Create Design panel, you have the Feature Line option. I select that, and the very first option, or tool in the dropdown is Create Feature Line. So I'm going to select that. Then we're just going to walk through this window here. Of course, whether or not we place it in a Site, you can place it in no Site, or be a Site-less Feature Line. We're going to keep it in the Creek Site. Notice that a Feature Line, actually can go where it's not named, or not stylized. It's one of the few objects that allows you to be a simple 3D object…
