Creating grading transitions

- [Instructor] So far all the grading we've done has been the entire length of our reference feature line. It has been a consistent grade and slope from that feature line, and it's a beautiful exercise of what grading objects can do, but in reality our grading doesn't usually happen that way. For example, we may need to change our drainage from our parking lot edge so that we have a shoulder that drains into the parking lot to transitioning to a shoulder that may drain away from the parking lot, maybe toward the daylight, and so we need to have the ability to transition our grading along that feature line, and so we're going to learn how to do that in this exercise. I'm going to go ahead and open up our exercise file, and we're going to choose 13_05_GradingTransitions. So this is the pond we have been working in, but we've removed the top berm and the daylight that followed it.
