Creating a pipe network
- [Instructor] Now that we understand what a parts list does for our creation and editing of a pipe network, let's create a pipe network. I come up to our quick access tool bar, and I'm going to open up our ten zero two pipe network exercise drawing, and in this drawing, we have some circles, along with numbers next to the circles. This is number one, two, three, four, and five. We're really just going to be connecting the dots. As we do so, we're actually designing from upstream heading downstream. So this is our high structure, going to our lowest elevation structure as well. And this is a sanitary sewer system. So from the home ribbon, create design panel, choose pipe network, and choose pipe network creation tools. It'll open up, we're going to name our network Sanitary. Make sure we have the correct parts lists. We have a better understanding of what that is. Our layers for all the different parts that make up a pipe network, whether it's planned or a profile view, the default…
