Creating sample lines and sections

- [Instructor] Now that we understand the relationships that exist between alignment, sample lines, cross sections, and section views, we're going to go ahead and create some sample lines. As a result of the sample lines, as I open up our exercise file here, I'll go to 09_02, the result of the sample lines, really is we're creating cross sections. Now, the cross sections are going to be stored in the Prospector. They're in the Drawing, they're cut. We'll just have to, in the next video or two, create section views so we can see them. But, when we create sample lines, we're really creating sections. To create sample lines, from the Home Ribbon, Profiles and Section Views panel, we choose Sample Lines. We click on this option. It asked us to select the alignment and there is a lot of data now on top of our alignment. So I'm going to choose the option to press Enter to select alignment from the list. The alignment we're looking for is named Osceola Road. So once I find that in the list…
