- [Instructor] One of the best features about alignments is their ability to dynamically react to design changes. You can make that behavior even more powerful by incorporating constraints. Let's see how that works. To get started I'm going to go up to the alignment dropdown and choose alignment creation tools. I'll accept the defaults on my new alignment by clicking OK. And that brings up the alignment layout tools toolbar. As you can see, there's an array of tools on this toolbar, but I'm only interested in this first dropdown. I'm going to choose the tangent-tangent with curves option, and I'm going to create a very simple alignment that's just a tangent, a curve, and a tangent. I'll press enter to finish that off. I'll close down this toolbar, and let's take a look at what's happened with this alignment. You can see obviously that in creating the alignment using the method that I used, it automatically put a curve…
