- [Instructor] As you probably already guessed there are many tools available to edit alignments. Let's explore some of those tools in this video. A quick review of one way of editing that you already learned in the previous video and that's graphically using grips. If I click on an alignment, I see a series of grips with different shapes; squares, circles, and triangles. The square grips control the ends of tangents and the midpoints of tangents. Circular grips typically are related to curves. So here I can control the pass through point or the location of the PC or PT. Here I've got a triangular grip controlling the PI and another one controlling the radius of the curve. So that's a very quick graphical way to edit alignments in your drawing.
