Edit alignments using Alignment Grid view

- [Instructor] If you think about it an alignment is just a series of tangents and curves. All defined by bearings, distances, and curve data. What if you could just edit those values in a kind of spreadsheet? That's where alignment grid view comes in. Let's zoom into these two curves in our alignment. And we'll click the alignment. Click Geometry Editor. And then on the alignment tools toolbar, alignment grid view is this big green circle. That brings up Panorama which lays out our alignment in a kind of spreadsheet view. As I scroll to the right you can see all the different values. Some of which you can edit that are listed in a dark black color, and the ones you can't edit are listed in gray. You can see there are different types of entities that make up the alignment, lines and curves. If we had spirals in our alignment we would see those as well.
