Edit parcels with grips
- [Instructor] So you've learnt several ways to create parcels. Now let's look at how to edit them. We'll start with editing parcels graphically using grips. Going to zoom into the small parcel that we created a few videos ago. It's named Property 28. And the reason I want to focus on this parcel is because there are two segments in this parcel that were created with two different commands, and as a result they behave differently. If I click this parcel line, you'll see that it has two grips at either end, much like a line segment would in AutoCAD. But if I press escape and click on this segment, we see a single diamond shaped grip. This line was created using a different command than this one. In fact, if we launched the parcel layout tools, we can see exactly which ones were used. This line was created using this tool here, add fixed line to points, and this one was created using the slide line create command.…
