Edit a profile with grips
- [Instructor] Just as you've seen with other Civil 3D objects, there are multiple ways to edit profiles. Let's take a look at graphical editing first. To get started, I'll simply zoom into my profile, and I'll click it, and that will display all of the different grip types that are available for a design profile. I can see ones that are circular and triangular and located at different points along the profile. We've provided circles for you in this exercise as well to help guide you along with the editing process. So let's take a look at our A1 and A2 circles. For this demonstration, we'll show what this upright triangular grip is for. This grip's located at the PVI, or point of vertical intersection. That's the location where two tangents intersect to form a point. If we click on that grip, we can move it around on the screen, and it's going to change the slope of either tangent going in and out of it. And it's…
