Edit the surface definition
- [Instructor] One way that we can manipulate surfaces is through something called Surface Definition. Let's take a look. What I want to do this drawing is create a combined surface of this pond and the existing ground. So to get started I'll go into the surface's area of prospector and I'll right click and pick, create surface. And I'm going to call my new surface Pond plus EG. And the style I'll choose for it is contours one and five design. Now just take a look at the contours that you see on the screen currently. Make a mental picture of that because I'm going to make those contours disappear. I'll simply select the two surfaces, go to properties and set the style to, no display. Now the surfaces are still there, we just made them invisible. Now I'll go into my pond plus EG surface and add the two surfaces that I want to include. To do that I'll right click edits and pick paste surface. So I'll grab the pond surface…
