Editing alignments

- [Instructor] I think you're seeing by now a pattern of how we're working through each feature within Civil 3D. We create the feature, we edit the feature, then we label the feature. We've created the alignment, and we've even added a curve to the alignment. Let's edit the alignment. Let's look at some of the editing capability we have. Let's open up our exercise file for this exercise. I'm going to go to the Quick Access toolbar, Chapter 6, 06_04_AlignEdit. Now this is the alignment that we've created so far. If I select the alignment, you'll see that it has some unique grips on this alignment. The grips that you have available are all depending upon the constraints of the elements, if and when they were created. So, the square grip, that defines that this is a fixed element, because that square grip is paying attention to a coordinate.
