- [Instructor] When we talk about editing parcels, we really have to go back to understanding again, how Civil 3D works with parcels. So editing parcels really goes back to editing the segments that make up the parcels. The sizes and shapes that they are. Let's go ahead and open up our exercise file for this video. And so I'm going to choose Open. And from the Quick Access Toolbar, I'm going to select 05 04 EditParcels. This ultimately is the end result of our last video. If we had gone through and continued using Create Parcels by Layout, this is roughly the results that you would probably see. And it does a really good job but you notice there are some parcels that just don't line up really well with their neighbors. And we want to do that for multiple reasons. One of them of course being layout, would really be helpful. And of course, recording the plats and the like, it just makes it much easier if we can remove the amount of additional segments that are not shared. And so we're…
