- [Instructor] In Civil 3D, not only are objects related to their styles they're also related to one another, let's see how this works. In this drawing I've got quite a few objects that are all related to one another, and I want to make a change, we'll see what happens then I'll explain all the different connections that cause the result that we're going to see. I'm going to go on to this profile view and zoom in just a bit, to where I can see the white finished ground profile line right here, I'm going to click on it. And when I click on it I'm going to see some grip shapes that you've probably never seen before if you've been using AutoCAD but you're new to Civil 3D. You've got these triangle-shaped grips that point in different directions and circular grips, and you'll get to learn all about those, when you learn about profiles. For now I just want to make a change and look at all of the different things…
