- [Instructor] Another relationship we can explore is the one between objects and labels. Let's take a look. You'll notice up here in the top right viewport that I've got an elevation label here. It's a spot elevation, and it says currently 190.02. This label, if I were to click on it and go to properties, you'll see that it references a surface called EG plus FG. Now, I haven't fully built out EG plus FG yet. What I need to do is go into my EG plus FG surface, and if I look here under definition and edits, you'll see that, so far, it has the existing ground surface in it, but I need to add the finished ground as well. So I'll go ahead and do that. And when I click OK, watch what happens to the label. You can see that the contours have changed because I made a change to the surface called EG plus FG, but hopefully you also notice that the elevation indicated by the spot elevation label has also changed.
