- [Instructor] It's often necessary to label bearings, distances, and curve data for parcels. Let's see how parcel segment labels make that possible. To begin, we'll zoom into the center of our site where we see lots 32 and 33. Now I'd like to create some labels on these lots that display the bearing and distance of the segments, as well as any curve data. So, to get started, I'll launch the add labels dialogue box. For my feature, I'll select parcel. And then for the label type, notice that the default is single segment, and that's actually what I want to use. And the two styles that I'll be using are bearing over distance and delta over length and radius. As with any labels, you're going to have a whole list of styles to pick from, and you're going to make your choice based on what you want the labels to show and how they look when they're showing it, so graphical standards like layer, textile, that sort of thing.…
