Labeling alignments: Point and segment labels
- [Instructor] The labels we've worked with so far are part of an alignment label set, a collection of labels that automatically appear beyond the collection or label set controls that we just looked at. We don't have much control over where they show up or when they show up. But there are some labels that we want to use the alignment as a reference, a control point, or even for designing or laying out the alignment. But are not specifically connected to a station. They might be connected to a segment or a specific point that we're trying to identify based upon the alignment. Let's look at some other labels that are available for alignments. We're going to open up our exercise file and we're going to choose alignment label segment 0606. This drawing's focused in on the intersection on the southwest corner of that subdivision we've been working on. And what we want to do is we want to use the alignments here to label station and offset points for our right of way. So we have these four…
