Labeling a pipe network
- [Instructor] Now that we have our profile view of the pipe network drawn, let's go ahead and add our labels to this profile view. I'm going to open up our drawing exercise file, 10_05_PipeLabels. In this drawing of course we have our profile view with our sanitary sewer pipe network shown in that profile view. We can of course select our pipe network, any parts in the pipe network, and we'll have that contextual ribbon open up. As always the left side of the contextual ribbon is the ability to add labels, and they're broken down in many different forms. I like the first option. As you've seen in other videos, this gives me the option to work with the entire feature. In this case, Pipe Network. Then it gives me the label types. So I'm going to choose Entire Network Profile. I'm able to quickly review the styles that are going to be used for labeling the pipes and the structures and even the crossings.
