Labeling profile views
- [Instructor] We learned about labeling profiles. Now let's see what options we have to labeling our profile view, that grid, in this video. We're going open up our exercise file. By going to the quick access toolbar or any other way to open up a file. And we're going to choose 0706 profile view labels. Now in this drawing this is zoomed in at the beginning of our profile that we've been working on. You'll see that you can probably make out where the flow line is for that existing curve along that roadway that we're tying into. What we're going to adjust here or label is the elevation of that flow line. And then we'll also label how much height there is between the top of the curve to the grade line or profile that we have designed. So I'm going to select my profile view. The contextual ribbon for the view opens up. Provides us the option to add view labels. There's two different view labels that you can add. One is station elevation, it's locked to a coordinate.
