- [Teacher] Many times especially as we create our final plats, there's so much information, so many labels on the plan that it becomes illegible. Thus, we get into a situation where we may actually tag a certain segment and instead of placing all the label information along the segment, we simply add the tag, it's like a keynote, point it to a table. We're going to see how we can do that in Civil 3D. I'm going to open up our exercise file, going to the quick access toolbar choose 05_07_SegmentTable.dwg We're going to focus first on this intersection on the southwest and we have four curve labels here and they're just a bit too long. In fact, this one wraps right around on itself. It's just really illegible. So we're going to turn these into tags. I'm going to select all four of these, if you don't have your properties palette open from the contextual ribbon, you can open up your properties palette.
