Profile view bands and band sets
- [Instructor] So far, we've created a very simple profile view, but let's take advantage of the ability to add additional information in connection with that view in what's called a Profile View Band. I'm going to open up our exercise file for this video. It's 07_07_ProfileViewBands in Chapter Seven directory. Now as we've been working with, this is the same profile and profile view, but you see how it stores no information down here except the station labels. We want to provide a little bit more information. We want to show the existing and proposed profile values, the surface profile elevations and the proposed profile elevations every station around along the bottom, and then slide the station markers below that. That's what's called a band. We're probably familiar with seeing that on profile views or grids if we work with any other civil engineering software.
