- [Instructor] Sometimes corridors will cross over themselves, in areas where there are tight corners. These areas are referred to as bowties, and they need to be resolved. Let's take a look at how to do that. You can see here I've modified this corridor so we've got a really tight corner in this area, and you can see the bowtie right here where the corridor is kind of twisted and flipped over on itself, the opposite side of the bow ties here, this part is accurate. But this part is not, you can see that the corridor is overlapping itself. And if we were to try to create a surface out of that, or extract objects from that, it's just not correct. It's not an accurate representation of what it should be. So, the good news is Civil 3D has a tool to fix that, and it works pretty easily. To do it, we simply click the corridor, and then up here on the ribbon, the tool isn't labeled, you just kind of have to know where it is…
