Rename and renumber parcels
- [Instructor] As we create parcels, we often just accept the default names and numbers that are assigned. But at some point we may want to assign them specifically. Let's take a look at how that's done. For any given Parcel, we can go in and change the name and number kind of one at a time. And the easiest place to do that is in Parcel Properties. I'll select this Parcel, right click and pick Parcel properties. And if I go to the information tab, I can change the name. Now you'll notice that it's grayed out here and that's because I have the "Use name template" turned on. So I'll simply uncheck that. And instead of having the name created automatically, I can type it in and have it be whatever I choose. So maybe I want the name of this Parcel to mirror its owner's name in this case J Razzi. Now to change the number, that's as simple as going to user defined properties and entering in whatever number I choose. Now, keep in…
