Transparent commands
- [Instructor] Transparent commands are the only commands you'll find in Civil 3 that are Civil 3D specific, that come out of the box with a toolbar type interface. It's the only toolbar that comes with Civil 3 is transparent commands. But now, new to Civil 3 2020, you'll also find a ribbon for transparent commands. And we're going to use the ribbon because it explains what each one of those tools are. But each one of these tools is also available along this toolbar. Though, transparent commands, you may be familiar with them to some extent, even though you don't know that you were using them. For example, on the home ribbon, if I choose to create a line here, and I start the line command, I'm in the line command but then choose to zoom, the zoom command is a transparent command. It's a command that's running within another command before you've ended the line command. So they're transparent, it's working within another command. And so I'm going to hit Escape here and undo.
